We recently learnt about a tragic story of a little girl who attended a nursery with the son of one of our colleagues. Olivia is 2 years old and, in January, was diagnosed with a brain tumour, meaning she could not return to the nursery.
Olivia has a Grade 1 nerve/hypothalamic chiasmatic glioma, which is in the middle of her brain and is continuing to grow. The tumour has already caused her to lose most of her vision and she can no longer see her parents.
The nursery that Olivia attended is trying to raise £10,000 to assist Olivia with the treatment she needs, and also to offer support to Olivia’s parents during this very painful and difficult time. In an effort to help with the fund raising, this Friday, the Websure team have ‘dressed down’ to donate to Olivia’s cause. We will hold similar events over the coming months, including a Cake Bake competition.
