You may remember a few weeks ago that the Websure team dressed down to raise money for a little girl, Olivia, who has a growing Grade 1 nerve/hypothalamic chiasmatic glima, which is in the centre of her brain. To help her treatment and offer support to Olivia’s parents during this painful and difficult time, a fund page has been set up to raise money, with a target of £10,000.
As part of a series of fundraising events, Websure held a Bake-off competition, bringing in their best efforts of both savoury and sweet-baked treats.
Everyone mad a huge effort with special congratulations to the two winners in our Wickford office – Jacob Healey for his sausage rolls and Shannon Reeves for her chocolate brownies. In London, the prize went to Sheena Kuo for her traditional Taiwanese baos.
The Bake-off raised a massive £359 and, to date, Websure has raised £564. The next event will be held at the end of October – watch this space.
